The Cookie Jar annual Crossbar Challenge took place on the 8th of March. As always it was a tense affair. The Social Committee of Wood Mackenzie based in Semple Street Edinburgh, held a charity comedy night. Entertainment came in the form of Susan Morrison, Jimeoin, Daniel Sloss, Glen Wool and Axis of Awesome, a great night was had by all and raised £1,475.07 for the Cookie Jar Foundation.
Thursday early morning saw an eager group of 20 cyclists meet at Inverkeithing train station. Our local award winning fish and chip shop held a discounted supper night. The owner Antonio, asked his suppliers to donate potatoes, fish, sausages, king ribs and pizza. The staff cooked and served special priced suppers all day Monday 14th July raising £1008.98!
