The lovely McTaggart’s held a charity day all proceeds from their French themed menu went towards the Cookie Jar Foundation and theRoyal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh.
It was a fantastic day and thanks to the McTaggarts over £1000 was raised.
Liz McTaggart had this to say on the fundraiser:
“You spent £1181.30 in the cafe, all of which has gone to the Cookie Jar Foundation and the Edinburgh Sick Kids Foundation. We don’t usually take in this amount so thank you so much everyone for coming along in such numbers and being so generous. £140 was also donated by lovely people who couldn’t make it along yesterday. We are so lucky to live and work in this wonderful community. Thank you from all of us.”
We would like to echo Liz’s words and thank everyone at McTaggarts for their hard work. Liz and John have always supporters of our foundation and we can’t thank them enough for all they do.
