18 members of staff at our local Matalan store in Dunfermline did an in-store sponsored cycle on the 28th and 29th of November and tomorrow. Each member cycled for half an hour each until they
reach their target of 244 miles, which is the distance from here to Matalans HQ in Skelmersdale.
They took £260 alone through the cookie jars at the main entrance and the final total is expected to be at least double that amount so a huge thank you to department manager Lisa Morris and all of her staff for their enthusiastic support!
The support from local businesses has been exceptional so far and we were absolutely delighted to welcome our local Matalan to the fold and there will no doubt be more events in the future.
